This policy explains what information playztvapp.com gathers when you visit, why it is gathered, and what choices you have. We have deliberately kept it short and free of legal padding. If anything here is unclear, get in touch and we will explain it.
Who we are
playztvapp.com is an independent download and information page for the PlayZ TV Android app. We are not the developer of the app, and this policy covers only this website. What the application itself does with data on your device is governed by its own developer, not by us.
Information we collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and there is no visitor login on this site. We do not request your name, address, phone number or payment details at any point.
The information that does reach us falls into two categories:
- Standard server logs. Like nearly every website, our host records the requests it receives. A typical log line contains an IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, a referring URL and a browser user-agent string. It is used for security and troubleshooting, and is rotated out on the host's normal schedule.
- Anything you send us voluntarily. If you write to us through the contact page, we receive whatever you choose to put in that message. We use it to reply to you and nothing else.
Download counts
When someone uses the download button we increment a counter. That counter records only the date, a two-letter country code and whether the request came from an Android device. It is a running total, not a log: nothing in it identifies an individual visitor, and there is no way to tie a count back to a person.
Cookies
This site's public pages do not set tracking cookies. The admin area uses a single session cookie, which only exists for signed-in site staff. Your browser may still store ordinary local data such as cache entries, and any third-party service described below may set cookies of its own under its own policy.
You can block or delete cookies at any time from your browser settings. Doing so will not break anything on the public pages.
Analytics and advertising
If we run analytics or display advertising, those providers act as independent controllers of the data they collect, and they may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure traffic or select ads. Their handling of that data is governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.
Where advertising is served by Google, you can review and change your ad personalisation settings through Google's own Ads Settings controls.
Third-party links and downloads
Pages on this site link to external destinations, including the file host that serves the APK. Once you follow such a link you are on a service we do not operate and cannot control. We are not responsible for the content, security practices or privacy policies of those third parties.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how it is processed. Because we hold very little beyond server logs, most requests are resolved quickly. Write to us via the contact page and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Data security
We take sensible measures to keep this site and its server logs secure. No method of transmission or storage on the internet is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. When we do, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
